How To Make Mezcal: Our Journey to Oaxaca Mexico

Luna Mystica Mezcal New Flavor Is Here!
It’s been a long journey, but over the last few days we have been down in Oaxaca, Mexico, working with the distillers of our mezcal to perfect our own unique flavor. I think what we’ve created is going to blow you away!
The mezcal spirits are alive! And we couldn’t be more excited for you to taste this magical creation.
If you’ve had our Luna Mystica mezcal, you know what to expect…
High quality mezcal straight from the source of Oaxaca, Mexico. Smoky, smooth, rich in all of the elements: earth, wind, water, and fire. Made artisanally, one batch at a time, with hundreds of years of skill and experience put into every bottle.
But over the past few days, we’ve been on a one of a kind journey to the valley of mezcal in Oaxaca, to do some hands on work with our unique blend of flavor of Luna Mystica.
What we came up with is a deep rich flavor of the tastes of ancient Mexico!
The first thing you taste is a hint of citrus grapefruit, followed by the flowery herbal flavors of jamaica (a purple herb used in making teas), after that you will taste some deep, rich, earthy secret ingredients that will take your imagination to different worlds.
We weren’t sure how it would turn out, but it seems we’ve hit it out of the park on the first try.
After the master of mezcal, who has literally tasted thousands of flavors, said “damn. that’s good.” (in Spanish of course lol), I knew we had something great!
I couldn’t be happier with the final product. It was described by the masters as “powerful, yet soft.” And this exactly what I was going for.
Luna Mystica is now available in Mexico, and will soon be coming to the U.S. Get on the reserve list to secure one of the first bottles here >>> https://www.banjoearth.com/mezcal
