The Magic of Mortality

The Magic of Mortality

The Magic of Mortality

Another year ends.

A new one begins.

How many of these revolutions do you have left?

Nobody knows.

And that is the magic of life.

It is said that the ancient immortals were jealous of us mortals.

Because we knew that one day our life would end, we could appreciate things more profoundly.

The smell of a spring flower.

The sun trickling through the trees.

The touch of a lover.

The bright eyes of a baby.

The simplest things in life tend to be the most magical, when we remember that we won’t be here forever.

Laugh, cry, love, lose, win.

Keep treading on this magnificent journey.

And soak in each sunset with full gratitude.

Because one of thee days, it will be your last.

Much Love, aE
